Yes. Marymount Convent has only been balloting for Phase 2C Supplementary. Phase 2C is very safe, even for PRs.
Hi For Marymount Convent, for 2011, 2012, and 2013, Phase 2C does not require balloting right? Balloting is for Phase 2C sup?
2014 2C registration is over so if your gal is due for registration next year, do go over to the 2015 thread to post your questions. We're discussing there now. -
balloting for Phase 2C Supplementary had ended yesterday.
(19 Aug 2014)
below is a list of schools, with vacancies left, at the end of P2C Supplementary
MOE should investigate why quite a number of schools, are left with more than 100 vacancies .
should analyze & find out why these schools are not popular to SC and PR ?
should MOE merge some of these unpopular schools together, or do some re-branding ?
(esp. those at top of the list)
sorted in descending order

MOE vacancies by Phases website : dated \"as at 13 August 2014\"
http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissi ... vacancies/
Note
Before MOE going to release above vacancies to foreigners in Phase 3 next week (28 Aug 2014), MOE will trim and \"clean up\" the number of vacancies, first. So as to control the vacancies, for intake of foreigners children. It will be less than what's left, in the above list. -
Just a reminder to parents of SC/PR children who were unsuccessful in P2C balloting. Don't wait until Phase 3 begins.
MOE website:
PS. The vacancies that will be set aside for Phase 3 is likely to be a lot less than what is left over after Phase 2C. So definitely please do not blur blur wait until Phase 3 to register. Phase 3 is meant for foreigners.Note: Should any Singapore Citizen/Singapore Permanent Resident child be unsuccessful during Phase 2C Supplementary, the parents can seek MOE’s assistance to facilitate admission for the child to a primary school with remaining vacancies. This will be done before Phase 3 registration begins.

Phase 3 now do not show the number of vacancies in each school anymore, unlike in the past.
http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissi ... vacancies/
Do you notice that latest listing only list out 60 schools, whereas at end of Phase 2C Supp, 69 schools still had vacancies.
Means 9 schools missing.
Perhaps all vacancies had been snapped up by SC / PR in these 9 schools, before Phase 3 begin.
This is the first time Moe did not disclose the number of vacancies, for Phase 3.
Suppose demand far exceed the Total number of vacancies in these 60 schools -
Wonder how Moe decide to allocate or reject the foreigner child ? -
Noticed the following schools are not in the Phase 3 based on Phtthp’s list…
#28-bukit view
#59-Gan Eng Seng
#63-Cedar Primary
#64-Peiying
#65-North Vista Primary
#66-Bukit Timah Primary
#67-St. Anthony’s Canossian Primary
#68-CHIJ (Katong) Primary
#69-Casuarina Primary
guess they are all filled up. -

I am asking for a friend who is applying tomorrow in Phase 3.
Do you think, say for example, Blangah Rise Pri Sch, would they take in 122 foreigners, having only 50++SC and PR, or would they cut the number drastically? We called the school but they said MOE cannot reveal any numbers..and the MOE website said :\"School posting will take into consideration factors such as availability of school vacancies and ensuring a good spread of students.\"
Thanks! -
This is the first time Moe handled Phase 3, personally.
Not sure how Moe allocate places to foreigners’ children.
Sorry. -

Thought your highlighted words were a giveaway (if you understand the G's doublespeak). They can't have foreigners outnumbering SC+PR given that these are public schools. Hence, intake for the school will be shrinker accordingly.

Can I check if Miscellaneous Fees for all primary schools are the same?
