My girl is in the "last" alphabetical class as we had registered her in the last day (2 yrs ago) of P2CS phase
I observed they are all quite balance with the boys and girls ratio and I am sure school will write to inform of the class allocation nearer to the orientation date. Parents are briefed with parenting talk and school syllabus in the school hall. Donโt worry about it as they will also assigned the older students to bring them around during the recess time in the first week. -
Just wonder how is the orientation is being conducted? With so many parents and children around?
All children will follow the teachers to their respective class.. Parents will remain in the hall to listen to talk.
how the children know their class
School will send a letter indicate which class your child will be in & Booklist plus a few forms dat you need to fill in during orientation day. -

1 Muslim stall, chicken wing my girl's favourites.TheHockminatrix:
Random + unimportant QN: What's the canteen menu like?
1 Chinese stall, rice, dishes, beehoon etc.
1 Drinks and Buns.
Portion is very small, probably i can gobbled down in 2-3 mouthfuls.
There is one new stall called Noodles Delight this term. My daughter was asking why are they selling roti-prata at this stall
Thanks very much! -

If you Google around PVPS, you can actually find slides from previous year orientation sessions. I think I found 2012/2013 slides.
Interesting stuff. Quite corporate / academic but I suppose it's fitting for 21st century parents. -
TheHockminatrix:
Yes, those corporate slides scared me and were not something i expect from school, but i guess all budgeted from MOE.

Dear parents, my son is in class 1E and I am checking if there are enrichment classes this coming Monday. He was given a note to say that the last session of enrichment classes for class A, B C and D is on 01 Sep. But nothing is said about the rest of the E, F, classesโฆ Does any one knows?
