I know it's not easy to find a good ethical doctor who treats patients like his own & willing to forgo better earnings for higher turnover. That's why I'm sharing my contact here. 😄

My family doc is Dr Goh at Lifeline Medical Clinic Bishan. I doubt he's got paediatric background but he's a father of 3 & has been seeing both my kids since young. Nowadays, both my kids rarely fall ill easily. I do not know if this is due to ketotifen that he prescribed to them when young (abt 10 or 11 yrs old that's meant to strengthen the lungs. They used to fall sick easily in those yrs but not now.

You can give him a try but do note that you may have to wait up to an hour to consult him even though there are queue nos. given out. The reason is (which is what I am grateful for) is that he spends his time to listen & explain to patients. You can ask him many questions & he will try to answer them. I feel many doctors nowadays have lost this 'touch' - to spend time to communicate with patients. It's sad but you know - rents are rising, wages are rising, medicines prices are rising, etc. :skeptical:

He told me that he got scolded by patients who complained the long waiting time. So, pls do not go to him if you dislike waiting. 🤷

Curious, why do you need paediatric background? If it's normal illnesses, any good GP should be capable of handling them.

My kids have been seeing family GP since they were 1. I have enough of the pediatric doctors. The medication is so expensive and they are just generic ones. My GP is at Dr Tang from Tang Family Clinic…waiting for him can easily take 2 hours. He is super patient.

I second what sparks had said. Dr Goh is extremely thorough during consultation and will try his best to answer all the questions you might have.

The other clinic is Bishan Grace clinic. Waiting time is not long but charges can be higher than normal GPs but still cheaper than PDs. Dr Grace has supply of effective non- generic medicine suitable for kiddos. Think she is a mom of 3 herself.

It's amazing how the queues form when this doctor is on duty.

Yes, patients have to wait...some patients have a lot to ask :slapshead:
Must be due to the fact that they waited so long...so must make money worth 🦆

Just a note that Ketotifen is an anti-Histamine and reduces inflammation , commonly used in asthma cases.
