If your child is keen in signing up for this competition, take note that closing date is 12 March or 3000 students whichever is earlier.

You’re welcome, snowz. And note that from this year, HCI requires applicants to register thru’ their primary school, not tuition centres.

Anyone knows where to send my nephew for training in maths olympiad? Any recommended centres?
My nephew is p6 this year.

Hi kiasiparent,
This thread itself have some feedback on maths hub, maths oasis, global education etc, you may wanna read thru’. Yep, its very tedious but feedback’s there. -
just wonder, can students who are in P4 or P5 (same age as their peers, not over-aged foreign students) participate in SMOPS?
-
Check the regulations page. and registration is to be done thru’ the child’s school.
for p5, look out for the one organised by NUSH - NMOS. -

Can, as long as your school allows because now only schools can register participants. -

Eligibility
All participants must be born between 2 Jan 1998 and 1 Jan 1999, both dates inclusive, or Primary 6 students born after 1 Jan 1999.
\"
So, if your child is P4 or P5, then will be born after 1 Jan 1999, so will not be eligible. Right ? -
good point. My mistake. It wasn’t so exclusive in the past.
