Good is a personal opinion. What constitutes a good school to you?

Dear all, one of our choices for primary school is RVPS. Would like to know if the Chinese standard is high? Cos my dd’s Mandarin is not very good, so I’m not sure if the school will be demoralizing for her.

Also, I’ve seen Brownies campfires during the school holidays and it seems like the girls were having lots of fun! But my dd is more interested in music and dance. Any idea if these CCAs in RVPS are available?

Does anyone know of any private transport option that can pick up a child from Stamford after school and drop off at Serangoon housing estate?

Taxi is obvious choice, but just wondering if anyone knows of any other option. Please let me know. Need to start this April.

                Thanks!

What’s the cut off point last year (2014), for affliated St Margaret primary students, to enter St Marg Secondary ?

                  for affliated pupils (\"O\" level Express ) : 200
(confirmed by St Margaret Secondary school)

                  for Outsiders (\"O\" level Express ) : 242

                  discount of T-score =
                  242 - 200 = 42 points (huge)

Re ACSJ 2014 Phase 2B results:

I thought the balloting was for PRs more than 2km - all SCs who applied under Phase 2B got in.
