              Just trying out

              a) circuit w is a parallel circuit which has more than one path for electric current to flow. Should one of the heating elemnt fuses, the others will not be affected.

              b) misting occurs when water vapor comes into contact with a cooler surface n condenses into water droplets thus by heating e windows, it prevents condensation

for question 33 (a) when water droplets in form of mist comes in contact with hot air of surroundings, hot air will loose heat to water droplets and will be evaporated as water vapour. This will reduce temperature of surroundings.
                (b) adding fan will 1)increase the rate of evaporation of mist and2) will help mist to be thrown for longer distance and can cover more area

The tiny water droplets gain heat from the surrounding and evaporate into water vapor, cooling the surrounding.

                    (b) adding fan will 1)increase the rate of evaporation of mist and2) will help mist to be thrown for longer distance and can cover more area

                    i) The mists are blown to cover a bigger surrounding area.
ii) The mists will evaporate faster thus cooling the surrounding faster.

                    question 41 (a) & (b)
41(b) rubber plunger tip can not reach the mark 1 on the syringe because air inside the syringe is matter and it occupy space.

The rubber plunger tip would not reach mark \"1\" as air occupies space.

                    question 44 (a) & (b)

                    a) The current through each heating in Circuit W is higher when compared with those in Circuit Z as they are in parallel. Since the current is higher, the heating elements in Circuit W will heat up faster than those in Circuit Z.

                    b) When the Circuit is closed, the heating element will heat up and become hot. The surrounding air around the back window will gain heat from the heating element and prevent the back window from misting over.

                        Answer is (2) - A and D.

When the cap is removed, the water from the container rushes into the bottle to displace the air in the bottle, so the air rushes out of the bottle and appears as bubbles moving up the surface of the water.

Note: Basically the water rushes into the bottle because its pressure is higher than the pressure of the air in the bottle.
