Personally, I need to switch off from the son for some part of the day so that when I see him a few hours later, I'm refreshed enough to take on more, uh, intensities from him.

I'm really lucky to have this option. :celebrate:

Haha... me too, Blobbi. As much as I love and enjoy my kids, I need my own space too.

What I like about PT work is that I can strike a balance (sort of) between flexi work schedule and family life. :lol:

And also to keep sane. I cannot imagine running round the house the whole day, driving them here and there, listening to their bickering whole day. The work is a great break! Keeps some sanity and keeps that contact with the 'real' world. Makes us less 'frog-in-the-well' too.
