On the way while driving, DD told me Math paper was easy but tricky in one Paper 2 challenging qn.

Another qn abt nearest to 6000. Told me initially no change till she spotted it has to be 58xx.

She’s in the class now so I can’t check the specific ans except was told this qn was indeed tricky.

I think this year's maths paper has easy as well as trickier qns. For those who are aiming for full marks may consider the paper difficult but for those who are aiming for a B or an A will find it easy. Just my 2-cents.

Looks like 'cream of the cake' students won't gain a lot same as previous years.

Middle of the cake will benefit

Paper 2 finished.dd says that most of the questions are similar to psle booklet questions.she had no idea about a 4 marks whole number question which was complicated and a 3 mark question I think angles.

What question was it? My dd said the angles question is a)105 b)40

            DS2 has a \"105 and 40\" as one of his answers ....

For Math, the bell curve likely to be flattened.
                  Won't be seeing any spike.

My girl doesn't want to aim for anything, she said she will just do as much as she can to perform well.

This PSLE period, she is feeling more relax, focus and calm as compared to her school exam period. As long as she is relax before exam and came out of the school, feeling happy and no regrets. She is happy, we are happy too. At the end of the day, if she thinks that there is no regrets and she has done her best. That is good enough πŸ™‚

Actually, I am more worry for my younger one. She is less discipline 😞

                      What aggregate is considered cream?

Based on year 2013, aggregate 280 to 258 = cream?

My girl think 18b(ii) is 4780. The angles question is a)105 and b)40. There is a speed question her answer was 5400m but her friend'sanswer was 2400. Which is right??

Mine is 9000m or 9 km!?

                        Mind 9000m too !
