      wonderm:
Any comparison of the A Level results for them?

HCI is first in average A level score, Ri 2nd (VJ didn't do well, their top student was rather \"far off\", even lower than Cat JC), then for NJC I donnoe liao.

I agree NJC is HCI rejects.

I went to their open house and my seniors all say they go there because they can’t go HCI. No one went to VJC because it’s too far. Especially those people like NanHua–we make up 20% of the population. And I put NJC as 3rd choice, after HCI and RIJC, lol.
        VJC got nicer uniform!

RI has 47% of students score 4 H2 distinctions compared with HCI's 20plus %. RI has over 300 students with perfect Uni entry pt of 90 vs HCI's 200ish. So how can RI be ranked 2nd after HCI?

Yeah, my chemistry teacher said that the teachers are actually kind of disappointed at HC’s results.

Although good, it was not as good as they hoped, with many people getting killed because of econs.

                  I know 🙂

I was glad we got full day off.
But I hate it when people start suaning me "RJ better than HC"
That may be true in the past, but recently smarter people chose NYGH over RGS, so there! The top scorer of O lvl 2009 also chose HC okay!

NJC has a definite advantage over VJC, having more prestige nation-wide and world-wide. I find it funny that you actually compare NJC with VJC. :? NJC is Lee Hsien's Loong's Junior College. NJC's A level's results are also obviously higher as compared to VJC. VJC on the other hand does not have as much fame and recognition as compared to NJC.

NJC was PM Lee's JC as there were very few JCs then during his time. In fact, VJC only just celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2009. So can't compare like that.

Just curious, as far as I know, both NJ and VJ are comparatively good - so how do you substantiate your claim that NJ is better academically? :?
