After receiving the posting results, you can decide to appeal to which school and then go to that school website to check what is the procedures and how many forms/documents need to be filled in or prepared.
I see, so can also check online? I assume they will give us all these information right? i blur blur...MMM:
Based on last year's impression, on S1 posting date, parents will receive a SMS on where the child is posted to. BTW, one of dd's classmate's mum didn't get the sms and I think she had to check the posting online. So long as you can receive/ check this information it's fine.
I am however unsure in the event of appeal, when will that action start as my dd dsa.
Any experience mummies/daddies here to share when does the appeal process start? One mummy told me to appeal on the same day we receive the posting results. Does the child need to be present for the appeal? Or anyone can be there to fill up an appeal form??
Ha ha, I'm kiasi enough to think of contingency plan now... even before the results are now....
BTW, we need to report to the posted school on the required date.
But no need to buy text books and uniform. -
GiftedGem:

Hi, one of the compo is about 健忘。hi,
does anyone know what is today HMT chinese compo about? tks -
Champion:
Your DD is so cute
MMM :hi5:MMM:
I've this dilemma as I am trying to determine if there are anything that I should keep for my P3....
I was shocked when I reached home yesterday to find DD1's table so neat clean except for stationery on it. Asked her where are all your assessment books, past year papers etc? She answered quickly,\"All pack and shelf in the storeroom, mummy! You may wish to see what you want to keep for mei mei but please don't let me see them again!\" :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
In the end, I decide to keep only the Science notes; giving away the untouched assessment books to a friend whose girl is P5 this year; and recycled her other notes. I do feel the pain especially when I went through those compo pieces, good phrases compiled neatly....errrhhhh....errrhhhh... :scratchhead: dilemma! -

First in my mind ... Looking for 25hr mama... are u there? Her DD1 in that sch now.[/quote]Hi GiftedGem, after seeing your post, I ran through my box file to check the receipt, the total purchase was $276.65. This include things like textbooks, stationery, art materials (stated as compulsory items). Books like Chemistry & Physics are for 'O' Levels, which I guess are meant to last till Year 4. We did not buy optional item such as dictionary & calculator (dd still using her P6 calculator), & dun worry abt not bringing enough cash, u can pay by credit card.
As for uniform, u need to buy tie, pinafore, white blouse, T-shirts, shorts & culottes. As for how many sets are required, that really depends on your dd's usage & your laundry routine. In my dd's case, I bought more shorts for her, as she has the habit of wearing her schools shorts everyday.
On that same day, u would need another $80(cash), if u r interested to join the Parents of RGS Association Membership. Hope I did not miss out anything.
