bb_ mom:
Don't want to think about PSLE! DS is absolutely not ready! Just praying he'll pass sa2.
Hello all.. ...Checking in this thread.. ....
:celebrate: -
I am not thinking of PSLE yet, just focusing on SA2 for now.
Her English Paper will be on the 20 Oct.
I think we will only get into the PSLE fever next year, don't want unnecessary stress at this moment.

I'm sorry to interrupt here but i wish to know whether MOE is no longer using T-scores, if yes, so the scores that students are getting are all the raw marks?
Last time, with T-score, I read from some parents, children should focus more on languages inorder to get higher T-score and now what should the students focus?
Anyone can advise.
:thankyou: -

T-score is still being used... at least as of now and for 2014 PSLE results.I'm sorry to interrupt here but i wish to know whether MOE is no longer using T-scores, if yes, so the scores that students are getting are all the raw marks?

Got back gal's results for three papers. Failed maths again. this despite twice a week tuition and massive drop for Eng and Chse. Sigh!
The problem is lack of urgency and motivation. Scolding, nagging and even rewards do not seem to work anymore. and worse, when she does not seem to be scared of failing, or at least I do not see her panicking. I always feel that unless the child is inherently motivated to perform well, it is difficult to pull the results up.
Now horribly worried for her psle next year.....
