Activities after PSLE

Oh, didn't know there's a space academy junior now for 8-12yrs. Last yr my elder ds went and he was already among the youngest at 13, and there were some activities like paintball that he couldn't go for bc of age since most of the activities were designed for the older teens. So cute too - he has his own suit in his size! ;DI signed my son up for a 5-day space academy camp which is conducted by former NASA engineers. You may check out for more info at their website.

Yes, they do. Am sending my boy for the Age 14-21 programme too.
Did your DS enjoyed the workshop?
They have a diving session as well.
Sounds fun and I think kids get to learn alot and while having lots of fun. -

hello fellow parents/PSLers
now that we’re so close to PSLE and the action is heating up and stress level too.
i thought we could take a breather and look forward to fun times and even more fun things to do post-PSLE. also perhaps to give our dc a little push.
what are the things you want your dc to do or what your dc would want to do?
do share. -
My son wants to setup a business :slapshead: Last night he asked me how to register a company and how much capital is required to setup his business :faint: . I saw he has a book containing his business idea :slapshead: DH already forbid him but DS said he has 3 months holiday and he has nothing to do. I think I would still be busy after PSLE

Wow! What kind of biz? You can be his angel investor! -
As for me, I am contemplating doing an evil thing. I am thinking of cutting DS allowance by 20%, give him access to his ang pows accumulated thru the years, open a Philip Securities sub-account, and let him trade so he can make up the shortfall. Since he likes to be glued to a screen, might as well be glued to one that makes $$ than one that kills imaginary enemies! I have taught him how to monitor currencies since p3 but never really given him seed capital to play with! maybe it’s time! With stock and currency markets showing some volatility, should be fun! Plus he will have all the time in the world! Maybe can make enough to earn his own spending money for our dec vacation…I can dream…
But more seriously, I am looking for a hardship camp - send th kids to some kampung somewhere to survive on v little modern amenities so they come back grateful for what they’ve got! Anyone with any to suggest, pls let me know. -

This boy likes to sell. He sells everything to his friends e.g. Vanguard cards, Pokemon cards, labels, erasers, etc. He even 'helped' his friends buy Smiggle stationeries and get commission (some of his friends are not allowed to go out of house). When he was younger, he sold something from our house :slapshead: so we had to tell him that he cannot sell our things without our permission.ngl2010:

Yesterday he got a business idea (sorry I cannot tell you) and he kept talking about it. DH is against it. Anyway, today I will tell DS to concentrate on PSLE first :nunchuk: -
