activities.
Upper primary need to change out of PE attire if the PE is before recess.
Lower primary can wear whole day.
My P1 actually wear PE attire 4 days a week, and uniform 1 day a week.
It depends on class time table, basically they will have 2 time PE a week.
1 work out day
1 CCA day
CCA day is on Tuesday.
work out day is on wed (this year)
so the another 2 PE day unless coincide with the above. if not they wull be in PE attire 4 times a week.
Base on above you can do your judgement.
and if you join the student care, you be buying 3 t-shirts which they must change into during student care. So the child will be bringing the t-shirt to school everyday.
But the good thing about school is that from P1, every student will be given a locker, (they will ask you to buy own lock, p1 they insist in number lock) so certain things can be left in school till year end.[/quote]
Thanks a lot for such details info, very useful guideline for mummy like me. :thankyou: Initial thought was to buy 2 sets PE, but now look like 2 sets of PE attire may not be good enough if they need to wear it 4 times a week
I am kind of worry if they have enough places for student care. Don't know how the intake will be, based on first come first serve or other criterias? I was told if full then would be put on waiting list.. even though have already indicated early during the P1 registration that I want to put my child in the school student care.. -
don’t worry high chance you will get in.
so far, never hear anybody cant get in, especially for the P1.
Only those they mid-way want to enrol may have problem. -
Thanks Norbu. Went to the school for the admin day. Registered the interest for the student care already. They can only take up 60 students. Will know the outcome by next week.

so might be seeing you picking child from student care next year -
Really hope so. I just called up the student care center and was told they would call to inform about the enrollment status this week. It is already tuesday, tomorrow is holiday, so likely will know by Thurday or Friday. Kind of anxious to know the outcome as I have no other caregiver for my girl after school. I follow their FB already as this is my first choice of student care center and in fact Wellington is my first choice of school for my girl. To put her in the school student care is the best way for me. Was told they hit the exact maximum no of student last year, so all students were accepted. Pray hard it is the same for this year that all students will be accepted without going through selection… Huhh… Time seems passing slow for me now…

:rahrah: Just received SMS informing that my daughter gets a place in the school student care. Really solves my concern and logistic arrangement. Thanks.

hope you don't need Saturday student care service, as of 2015 they are stopping Saturday service. -
Thanks Norbu, yah luckily I don’t work on Saturday. Any change in their opening hours in 2015? Do they still open till 7pm? My workplace is quite far from the school and traffic is quite heavy in the evening, will have concern if they close early.

they just change again, due to request. They maintaining sat opening.
For 2015 open till 7pm should be no changes.
Just a advise, if your child normally have early lunch. As the school end at 1.45pm. By the time they have lunch will be 2+. So either have good breakfast or must take recess. -
Thanks again for the advice. Will take note and make sure she at least eats something before going to school
