Can I check with you all something?

How do you plan to let your child bring the money for the donation to school? Not safe to bring so much money with them, right? :?

Just issue a cheque where make payable to \"Radin Mas Primary School\". That is how I let my DS pass it to the form teacher.

Did any of you get the story book from the recent book fair? Wonder we still can get at good price after the book fair period

Thats what I did. In fact, it is written at the back of card...I only found out after I ask the teacher if I could issue a cheque to the school  .

I think my DS did. Sori...i am out of town but my hubby did gave him some money to buy storybooks. Is there any particular book that you are looking at? Seems like they have bookfairs fairly often, they had one sometime in Feb if I dont rem wrongly.

        Hi All,

How can we know the marks being allocated in Term 1? Seem like the worksheets not begin to show marks like 50/50, 20/20 instead of just A, B C.

I still think that at term 4 70% is quite a lot.

So, I wasn't the only one who thought of it. My son's form teacher looked so surprised when I mentioned I would issue a cheque, as if she had not received such requests from other parents before.

              Hi Jen!

You are an ex-student of RMPS, right? How much different is RMPS now compared to your time?
hi qms, sorry I was busy the last few days and didn't see your post until today.

Hmm, the most significant difference is bigger school compound as they only have 1 building during my time. The space where the extended buidling is used to be their field area and also garden (which is bigger compared to their current garden now).

Most MT teacher are shared among the same level classes. They also have much more activities, dancing etc....

In the academic area, I think they are still pretty much the same. Other than having to learn HYPY in Pri 1 (nationwide change), can't think of anything else.

But in my 6 years there, I don't think they have any fund raising activity although there was 1 year where they organised a play on the history of RMPS (how it started etc....) during its anniversary year.

                Hi All,

Anyone know the “Student Protection Plan” which is $2.70 is per month or per annum? Seem like when I contacted NTUC Income they does not know what I’m referring. Does this plan cover just when the child in the school premises or during school activities (E.g Outdoor Camp, Excursion).

If not maybe would consider getting some form of PA plan for my DS to add on-top this existing one.

Don't you have the brochure? The brochure has the answers to your questions.

                    Hi Jen!

Thanks for the info. Seems like there hasn't been much change to RMPS, apart from the fact that the campus is much older now. 😉

Yes I do have the brochure but thought NTUC Income can give me more explanation. AnNyway $2.70 to cover per annum is quite good.
