I’ve 2 children in Yumin, P4 & P1.
There are in total of 6 P1 classes for 2013. -

Cos Yumin is a good school and has less KS parents i suppose. Haha.Yup I guess so too i.e. very few Yumin parents in the forum.
I come in occasionally to check the thread but it is usually quiet. -

my son got into Yumin for P1 next year too.. are u going to the orientation on the 17th nov 2014? I've called the school and they said that we will be able to buy textbooks and school uniforms on that day but they only accept cash. So make sure you bring some cash there..

Hi bizznow,
Thanks for the info…U applied in which phase? Where does your child go for kindergarten? Do u stay nearby Yumin? -
My son and daughter are there. Syllabus is not hard. Teachers are ok. They just changed principal this year.

My P1 daughter has just been allocated to a class. Does anyone know how the classes are allocated?
Random, some assessment test, birthdays or family name alphabetical order? :? -

The rest is random.
They dont stream the children till they are in P3.
From P2 to P3 last year, they are streamed according to Maths results.
