      Hi all,

Rcvd the booklist of P1, if I purchase from the school bookshop on orientation day, is it possible that I can not collect all books on that day? I mean some books are not enough for us so that will go down another day to collect.

why don u order online instead?. they will deliver… less hassle for u

Yup, maybe online is the better solution. Thanks for your information.

Provided you are always at home.. If I'm not wrong, delivery is normally on weekdays day time..

Just sharing my view as a working parents..
I believe Most of us are working and no one at home..
It will be better to get the books on the orientation.

You can order on-line then self-collect on the date which is convenient for you. The collection dates are stated in the booklist.

I saw that you can also preorder by faxing the book list to the book shop and they will prepare the books for you. Then you can just collect on orientation day. I think can reduce some waiting times and just concentrate on buying the uniform. 🙂 Chinese books still need to go down another day though since still not available.

Yes timing is crucial.. so what I did was to arrange the delivery to my parents' house.. coz my mum is at home. Then I can slowly bring back the books bit by bit. For those who don't like the idea of lugging the books around on orientation day.. and want to plan an outing with your kid(s) after orientation, can consider this option ah.

Hi Parents of 2015 Primary One,

                      Just to share a reminder.
Remember to submit the online form. Deadline is tomorrow 5 Nov.
Below was the email from PLVPS…Lovekids22 :rahrah:

                      Dear Parent/Guardian of 2015 P1

Greetings from Palm View Primary School!

We trust that you have received our letter ref: PLVPS/2014/073 dated 20 October 2014 regarding the P1 Orientation.

In our letter, we have requested parents to submit some data by filling up 3 online forms as part of your child's/ward's school admission requirement. The submission of these data is important as they are for the management of your child's/ward's well-being in the school.

The online forms are available via the school's website http://www.palmviewpri.moe.edu.sg. Please click on the 'Parents' Hub' tab followed by 'Forms for P1 Parents (2015)'. The access password is plvps2015.

We have extended the online submission deadline to Wednesday, 5 November 2014. If you have not submitted your forms, please do so before 5 November 2014.

Cool… with these online forms… parents will spend lesser time filling up forms on the actual day itself.

Good to see that the school is doing things to improve the processes year after year.
