After weeks of pondering, we have decided to go Hokkiado instead of Korea, and this will be our 3rd visits.

We have booked jetstar for our domestic flight from Tokyo to Sapporo.

3rd visit to Hokkaido?
When would you be there? Only Hokkaido?

oh, we yet to shortlist which hotel to stay, should be looking at those nearer to the train station. What about you?

If u are going furano, there is free shuttle fr sapporo prince to furano prince hotel

I flew ANA last yr.
how is Jetstar to sapporo, I checked is abt $1900 plus for 2a2c

Yup, but it'll be in Dec coz my kids have too many things lined up

Rusutsu is good, food is good too - but since it is ski resort, price is more compared to Sapporo city. My ds and hub took a day ski class with a scotish trainer.
dd and myself played sled and easy hike around the resort- very big

The onsen is FANTASTIC - outdoor with snow capped mountain view. You can take the gondola up Mt Isola , view is breath taking
There is paid bus service to Lake Toya. But I did not go Toya.
