try HMT in P5
ok. Will give her a try...hope she can manage it.. :thankyou: -
What is the school recommendation?
My P4 DD scored band 1 for her Chinese and ME for HMT.
The school does not recommend HMT for P5 in her report book.
We stick to the recommendation to give her less stress.
For your reference. -

my daughter from neighborhood school
p1 to p4 without HMT, MT always band 2 (70±)
try HMT in P5, hate chinese
2013 PSLE
MT A
HMT +2 -
My girl from top school. P1 to P4 HMT, high band 1 throughout. I did not opt for HMT for her in P5. There’s a big jump in all subjects in P5. This year 4 terms results for MT, she got high A. I feel we make the right choice to opt her out so that she has 1 subject less to worry.

Hi all,
My son will be in Primary 1 at Nan Chiau next year
see you all at the orientation tomorrow! -
:thankyou: Parents for all the advice. Have spoken to her Form teacher and MT teacher, they will discuss with the committee. We will let her drop if she can't cope next year...
