        Hi Mummy2008,

Sorry I didn't see your post before the orientation. Parking is always an issue especially if you need to park for a few hours due to school events. No choice, I had to climb up from Wilkie Edge. If you are lucky you can get a public parking spot along the road towards Selegie but there very few lots. But no worries for picking up. They close two eyes if we are just waiting for school dismissal. πŸ˜„

What class is your DD in?

          No worries, Wanderlust πŸ˜„

Yes, i parked at Wilkie Edge...not too far actually, just crossing the road must be very careful.

My dd is in P1-Grace class...will be back to school for settling the books and uniforms as i did not manage to do all things on that day. My dh was not around last Friday, so we need to go back according to the schedule given.

          Hope to see you πŸ˜„

            Hi Mummy2008

You can order the textbooks online and pay a delivery fee of S$9.00. Yesterday we went to Bibi n Baba to get sch uniform and pe attire. If u go in the early morning it is not that crowded.

Anyone DD is in the student care and taking the 4.30pm school bus? I was told there will not be any 4.30pm bus for the 1st week as the CCA bus will only start 12th Jan. I am still trying to figure out what I should do. it is going to be a big problem for me. By the way, my DD is in P1 - Charity.

                  Hi drselvam1,

It really depends on you and you dd as I think Farrer Park is a mix school while SMPS is an all girls school. So it really depends on your dd's preference. Both schools have their merits.

I would suggest you pay a visit to both schools with your dd and talk to the Principals and also walk around a bit before you decide.

                  Wishing you well.

                  Cheers.

Still confuse with the textbooks. Must we buy all the textbooks on the list? How to choose them?

                        Any advise ? Thanks πŸ™‚
