Book fair at Bras Basah atrium
Jointly organised by a number of bookshops in Bras Basah. Both adults and children books.
But I noticed some books looked yellowish and worn out, could be second hand books -

Hi all,
Anyone knows of any good bookstore for Chinese books for primary school kids, books that are good and relatively cheap, I dont mind second-hand books. - I need to find out for parents who come to me with their Chinese Language woes. I can't find Chinese books that are equivalent to English books like Magic Treehouse, Chinese Cinderella kind of books.
If you are looking for a good 'lobang' for English books for primary school kids, I have one to introduce. I am not working in anyway with them..just that my students and I benefitted a lot from them, I have never found a supplier who does this vocab extracting thing. I got some books recently from this supplier and they have books that are not available in Singapore that they ship in from overseas, and what I really like is each book comes with a list of vocabulary phrases that has been extracted from the books- I use it to help my students with their writing. - what better than to borrow words and phrases from authors who are paid to write well. And I noticed that my students' writing has matured and is not so bland. In fact, my colleagues are also starting to get books from them as well. Anyone wants to know about the supplier, just drop me a message.
Hmm, I would also like to find out about MPH bookfairs, anyone been to them, are they any good? Anyone knows about library sales as well?
Thanks
