jjxy, wow u got a very gd deal. Does it include check in luggages?
      How early u book Jets?

which resort are u going for Furano?
No, i din stay in Prince Sapporo, but I read it in Prince Hotel chain
when I was looking at Prince Furano.
Yes, actually we were pondering to travel via JR pass or by air..but when we found that Jetstar is having offer rate on our traveling date, so we quickly grab it. We did add on 60kg of luggages, total amt is 44600 yen. I booked it last Sunday.

We will be staying at New Prince Hotel.

        AZURA:
sorry forgot to mention that wish to stay in a room with extra bed. most hotels will require us to book 2 rooms

Azura, try apartments? Such as Citidines in Shinjuku http://www2.citadines.com/en/japan/tokyo/shinjuku.html.

I have stayed in an Oakwoods apartment before too, two bedroom apartment, with four adults and two kids (the kids were 1 and 3 yo then). Oakwoods has several locations in Tokyo too. Good luck with the search!

          For info, pls.

Anybody on "budget" can try staying in Super Hotels.
We stayed in their hotels at different parts of Japan. Most provide breakfast and some with onsens. Some hotels have rooms for 3 persons.

Hi, we plan to visit Osaka for 3 days during end Nov. Would appreciate if anyone could recommend a good hotel in Osaka.

              TIA! :please:
Try Swissotel Nankai. It's very conveniently located above a train station which has direct train from airport too. See http://m.swissotel.com/hotels/nankai-osaka/

                Hi
My priorities are distance to train station, availability of a room for 3 persons, price, breakfast and onsen.
                1) Kokura - about 5min to bullet train station with onsen & breakfast
                2) Hiroshima - 20min to bullet train station (!) but room is the largest with breakfast
                3) Tennoji - about 8min to station with onsen & breakfast
                4) Fuji - about 5min to station with onsen & breakfast
                5) Ikebukuro - about 8min to station with breakfast.

Yes, Super Hotels are present at different parts of Japan which are attractive to budget travellers.

BTW, the visit to Cup Noodles Museum in Yokohama or Instant Ramen Museum in Osaka is highly recommended for families. The activities are fun.

Starlight1968sg, we plan to make a trip there from Tokyo. Did you go from Tokyo too? Did you take train there and do you have directions there from the train station? Thanks!

Yes, we stayed at Ikebukuro and took trains to Yokohama.
Briefly, we went to Hase (Kamakura) for the Daibutsu in the morning. By noon, we were already in Yokohama. The Cup Noodles Museum is just a few train stops away from Yokohama. The name of the train station is Sakuragicho. It is a short walk from this station to the Museum.
                        Enjoy yourself.
