My girl’s class top 3 pupils got into 3I so can quite safely say 3I still best class next year.
For my boy’s class, only the 1st and 2nd position got into 3I. The 3rd in position did not manage to get in. Competition is quite fierce. -

Hi
Any P1 parents here? Anyone has already been informed of the CL class allocated for your child for next year already? Anyone knows when will this allocation/banding for Chinese be made known ( first week of P2??)?
My son is currently in P2 only knows about allocation by P2 1st week.
Yes, this is true for all the past few years for my child. They’ll know their banding class only in the new year.[/quote
Thanks for all the replies. From what I heard, usually there are 2 best Chinese class for the whole P2 level, CL1 and CL5 or 6 usually, but in terms of materials, worksheet and tingxie list, is that of the 2 best class more difficult than the rest of the classes? Or no difference at all just that teachers teach faster perhaps?
my boy is in CL6 this year. Their chinese spelling is much tougher than the rest of his classmates who are not in CL6. -
Hi, does anyone know if the P1 orientation tmr is drop off or the parents must stay throughout?

Parents will stay for briefing in the hall while the form teacher will bring the children to their class, show them the library etc like a mini tour of the school to familiar use them. -

The information is wrong. Eg this year there are 5 HCL classes (approximately 20-30 students per class) and the school attained 100% HCL passes.
