I didn't realise different basket and cop. In that case likely heartpain if RI cop lower than 258.
His second choice is a CO. Cannot participate in Sec 1 posting -
Nanyang top cannot be 235! got at least 20+ students get more than 260. dd’s classmate got 261

Just4Fun, why not have a survey of what people thinks the cut off points are for the top school it will allay some fears and embolden others to try !

Sleepy, in this scenario you mentioned, the kid would see on his results slip that he has a CO from his 2nd choice school. He cannot participate in S1 posting since he already has a CO, and with CO, no appeal accepted either.

Well, pros and cons, if you want the safety net, then you need to be prepared that you may end up giving up your 1st choice. Otherwise you have to forgo the safety net and hope for the best. -

With 6 choices, you can pick 1st 2 schools a little above your T-score range (1-2 points above), next 2 around your T-score range and last 2 below your T-score range (2-3 points below).
