Hi all, just to double check, is the 3rd language center for both German and French in Bishan or Newton?

Thanks a lot for the warm welcome & comments.
It's really good to hear that the teacher support in RPD is wonderful. There's already a big transition to get used to, plus my boy is interested in the Art programme & the offer of a 3rd language. Together with his CCA commitments, I believe RPD will work for his better good at the initial start.
How's the Art program like, I wonder? Is it a 'heavy' subject to take?
We're looking very much forward to being part of the Raffles family! I, for one, am considering joining RPA.
Cheers! -
DS just got his psle results w t score 253. He only has eyes for RI as his brother is currently in year one.
What is the chance if he appeals? I told him is slim as he is 6 marks always from Cop. Is the chance higher w a sibling in RI too? -

Nope. They will only look at your PSLE aggregate. -

RPD is not by choice. If your son's cut off point is high, he will automatically be assigned to RP class. -

To be honest, the chance is slim. So far, the successful appeal cases I knew were only 2 points away at most. However, there is no harm to appeal. In the appeal form, there is a question whether any of the parents or siblings was/is in RI but I don't know what they use the information for.DS just got his psle results w t score 253. Yes, was referring to AEP. My son has a creative aptitude & interest in art but I'm wondering whether the subject is a demanding one?
Because you mentioned the new principal, I'm unsure too what change might or might not be implemented & whether he would then become a borderline case.
Thanks again!
