The new JC is going to be designed by CLP Architects - the same architect that designed SMU and Gardens by the Bay. Apparently , it would have escalators and a glass 'enclosure\" at the top of the building that will give a panaromic view of Bishan Park. The design of the campus blends into the park.


Also the JC will be offering all 3 prestigious program
-Music Elective Programme ( currently offered in ACJC,DHS,RI,TJC)
- Humanities Scholarship Prog ( currently in ACJC,HCI,NJC,RI,VJC,TJC)
-Bicultural Studies Prog ( currently offered in DHS, HCI, RVHS)

Seemed like MOE have already have very high expectations of the JC.

A) Could someone please share more information on the school IP program?
B) is the IP program as tedious as the other IP school?
C) Will there be any orientation program for the girls who will be in Year 1 next year when they first join the school?
D) Will the girls feel left out as they are not from the affiliated primary school?
E) What is the school hour?
F) Do they require to purchase any electronic devices eg. Notebook, iPad etc?

C) definitely not, there are loads of students from non-affiliated primary schools and even those from the sc primary are usually pretty welcoming and willing to broaden their social circle given enough time!
E) 720 to 1-2+ if I remember correctly.
