I am not sure if you can drop AEP, because I have never heard of anyone doing so. If I’m not wrong the only way to do this is to do badly (in AEP or other subjects) such that your teacher recommends that you drop it so that you can focus on other subjects.
On another note, the meetings with PSLs on Friday are actually not compulsory. Students are only encouraged to go because the sessions will help them to better adapt to secondary school life. -
Thanks a lot, kiasustudent85000 for the feedback. His fencing training on Friday starts only at 7.30pm, so I believe it’ll go well with PSLs if need be.
It’s a hard choice though for him to choose between AEP & 3rd language. Do you know of any student who’s been in the same shoes before? Worst of all, the reply deadline for 3rd lang is only a few days away… -
I think that Year One AEP is not that stressful, so AEP and 3rd language might be manageable. However, I don’t think this can be said for Year Two onwards. In my opinion, I think that AEP is probably a better choice for your son given that his schedule is already very packed.

We realised that he can’t join AEP because it’s compulsory to be in the Photography & Art club, right? That’ll worsen the CCA commitment that he already has in T&F. I get the link between AEP & the club, but just don’t understand why they must make it compulsory to be a member.
It seems like u were saying 3rd language is a very heavy subject. Am I right? -
Hi all, may I l know normally what is the dismiss time on Friday? As my DS has his own violin lesson outside, not sure if time is enough for him to catch the lesson.
