Maris Stella High School
-
Hi,
I am hoping to send my son to MSHS but he scored 2 points below last year COP and has no CCA to back his appeal.
Any chance of him getting into the school?
Hope to get some advise from parents who had successfully appeal to the school. Appreciate if you can share your appeal experiences.
Thanks so much. -
Hi, can anyone help? We are likely to choose Maris Stella High for my boy. Just wondering, if he opts for a 3rd language, ie. Malay, where does he go for lessons? Is it at Bishan? I assume Maris Stella does not hold Malay lessons in school? Thanks

I think it will be one of the centres marked "#" on pages B-1 to B-4 in the MSP column on the Sec 1 posting booklet.
As to which one, perhaps it would be the nearest ? -
Hi,
I am looking for parents whose sons would be in MSHS Sec2 next year.
Anyone keen to give away or sell their Sec 1 books, please pm me. I am hoping to save up for the impending MacBook purchase…
Thanks! -
Hi,
My ds have been accepted to Maris Stella.
If any parents would like to let go of their child Sec 1 books, please PM me. Would like to save for the MacBook too.
Thanks, -
My DS posted to Maris Stella too :imcool:
Any idea if they will know their class allocation on Monday? -
Hi,
I would like to find out from parents that had successfully appealed to MSHS previously, how soon did the school inform you of your appeal results? Before the term starts or after? Also, what was the difference in cop?
My son scored 234 but did not get in even though we put MSHS as first choice. This year cop for MSHS is also 234. I guess because he is a Taiwanese (Singapore PR). According to MOE handbook, priority is given to Singaporeans. I am not complaining since I am a Singaporean myself, only right that our government gives priority to our own people. But feel sorry for my son as he also can’t get into ZHSS (cop also 234).
Any parents can advise on our chances? Or should I just prepare him to accept his posted school?
Thanks. -

If you feel strongly for MSHS, there is always no harm trying. -
