no ME time on my own...but a luxury not having to face assessment books or plan revision for CA/SA. basically a luxury not doing anything

I find I have much less me time now that the kids are on vacation. Not that they really need me, but there is just more coordination and having to note who is going where, when, with whom, whether they need fetching, which meals they are eating out etc, and also having to schedule some outings and activities as a family. I’m seriously considering getting a movement chart for the family! It’s simpler in term time as they leave at the same time every morning, stay in school most of the day, and they don’t have so many one-off activities outside school.

with kids at home during holidays, it's not possible to have ME time because they will be pop in to ask, 'are we going anywhere today? what are we having for lunch/dinner? can we go out?' the only wonderful thing is NOT having to look at the clock and eat when we feel like eating. -

big enough...no need to look after them like baby or toddler stage.
but pop into my room every 15 min...'can we go out today? can we go to orchard road? it's so boring.' :slapshead:
when I asked what they wanted to get from orchard road, they tell me, 'nothing. just walk about' :faint: -

It will pass. When they are older, you may wish that they would come and ask you! Or you will be asking them to go out with you instead of doing their own stuff or going our with friends.big enough...no need to look after them like baby or toddler stage.

ME time until back to work on Mon.
For my case, it is quite simple. Dd likes Subway and a meal there would "solve" our lunch. As for dinner, since am at home, I would usually cook.
For the rest of the time, it would be "she does her work and I do mine"
My work: clean hamsters’ cages, surf internet, do some day-dreaming, take a nap,… -
I foresee some ME time tomorrow. after they have done their work, we will do our own thing…daughter and her rainbow loom, son with his game and I will be HERE in KSP.
