      Coolkidsrock2:

Any recommendation on where to buy the jade bangle and cordeceps. Would like to buy but do not dare to buy.
I'm wary of fake jade in China. I bought mine in 云南中甸边界(China-Burmese border)...Not aiming for top grade, as I just happened to like jade colour.

As for cordyceps or other Chinese herbs, you'd better stick to accredited TCM shops like 北京同仁堂.

I like \"fei cui\" but not an expert and never dared to buy. Was quoted a 6-figure price for a bangle locally. :nailbite: :nailbite:

Wow! 6-digit! Which jeweller, if I may ask? How about going to HK to buy. They will provide a cert for you. I recently bought a pendant in Beijing. Supposed to be nationally accredited...they even laminate the cert for me!

I love \"fei cui\" as well, esp those with colours that compliment my complexion. Buying jade is like buying lipsticks. Any wrong shade will make you look very \"aunty\" or \"grandma\"! I love the cool touch of the green gem...supposed to have healing \"powers\"...“人养玉,玉养人”

Many HK office ladies wear jade bangles to work. So I copied them as well 🙂 Looks very gorgeous with black or white office attire/ skinny jeans...but must have fair, flawless and slender forearm n wrist, not fleshy /hairy arms, else one will look very AH SOH. :rotflmao:

Ensure fingers are long and slender, nails properly manicured too!!!

JS, you got the shade of green correct. I don’t have the name of the shop.

Maybe just unfortunate, but had received a gift of jade from China with concern about the "certificate".

In the end, I just bought "ice" jade instead. Not so expensive but meet my need to wear jade this year.

JS, what you shared are very nice. But the price is also 😓 :nailbite:

But DH will :spank: if I buy without his knowledge. 😂

Agreed. My regular jeweller’s wife has a very nice collection. Ditto for another friend who deals with other precious stones.

Am not an expert in this so will rather stick to assets which am more familiar with.

Small amounts equivalent to a P/L is still acceptable. But beyond a certain price tag, can be a bit hard.

谢瑞麟、六福、周大福,周生生 etc should have nicer designs than those in China 🙂 China's most reputable is 七彩云南翡翠 (many branches nation wide; provides cert)
