My eldest took PSLE 2011, he used to score only 70+ in P1-4, even failed in P5. I used only 2 books and some school’s papers to drill him and he scored A eventually. The 2 books are "Challenging Maths Problems Make Easy" and "On Sponge P5", both by Ammiel. My 2nd is taking PSLE next year and I’m doing the same.

Yah, I’d only managed to do P5, no time to do P6 but it’s enough. In fact my 2nd kid’s school is also using P5 only.

Can anyone share how to prepare for PSLE Science ?

You could spend the school holidays to revise P3 to P5 Science concepts with your child. This helps to save revision time for next year. P6 academic load is very heavy. The best time to revise the previous years Science is NOW! Let your child practise 1 or 2 past year top school end of year test papers for P3, P4 and P5 topics. From the mistakes made on the test papers, analyse the weakness and go to the specific topic to recap again.

make sure lower block science foundation is strong and then p5 topics. when school reopens, time is tight as there are new topics to be taught.

Not new anymore since our kids have been practising based on this format for at least a year. And still struggling with it for some components.
