if 2017 parents are already worried about PSLE, then 2015 parents will be super stressed.
2015 Psle parents are the pioneering batch, to test out the new English Psle format, followed by 2016 (2nd batch), 2017 (3rd batch) -

No need to be scared as MOE will be more lenient in marking. -

Hi All,
Would like anyone know if 2017 MT (Chinese), is there any changes in the syllabus?
My DD will be having hers in 2017.
My DS just completed his PSLE this year and English was the last batch with old syllabus.
Overall, this years' papers were not as easy.
However, he did quite well.

Yes, there's nothing to be afraid of, unless you feel that your child is already primed for the current approach and the new format is unfairly biased against your child. That is unlikely since your child would not have experienced either the new or \"old\" format as yet. In fact, if your child's school is currently using STELLAR pedagogy, the new format will dove-tail nicely with their learning styles. -

:thankyou:

Just a bit worry even though my DD's MT is alright.
Maybe tends to compare with my DS who's always did well which make me more worry.

Iām glad there is finally a textbook for English. Teachers and parents must have been complaining about the lack of it. Grammar and vocabulary is very crucial at every level. Even Preston is the improved version.

May I know the name of the English textbook?
