      Hello,

I’ll be a Sec 3 student next year and I hope that I can help by sharing my experiences so far or answering some questions regarding Crescent. Feel free to PM me for anything. 🙂

          ValSun:
Any idea how many pupils does Crescent Girls takes in yearly?

          Thanks.
Hi! Crescent used to take in 280 pupils each year (7 classes), until the 2012 PSLE batch. From then on, the number of classes decreased to 6, thus the school only takes in 240 pupils.

          Hope this helps! 🙂

            Hi!

I would like to give away my secondary 2 literature books, Merchant of Venice and Animal Farm, to anyone who wants them (for free). The two books are in a very good condition (somewhat as good as new!). Please feel free to PM me if you would like to have them!

My daughter scored a few points beneath the aggregate score (2 points)

Does she have a chance to get in? Will they consider?
If they couldn't meet with the expected amt. to be considered a class does my daughter have a chance to get in? please advise as I dont want my DD to travel too far and most of the schools is about 1hour plus from our place... thanks in advance

Agree to do Uniform groups as CCA in addtion to putting first choice. fillout appeal form , if couldn't get in.

If you r thinking of uniform group aka NPCC, let me share that it takes heaps & heaps of your girls time . So if u r living far away like Seng Kang , Tampines, Woodlands etc, think very carefully. need to remind your girl that she may hav to do her sch work til midnight.

2 -3 days a week, they hav to b in sch before 7am and on their Traffic Warden duty week, it's 6.40 am.
Training is 2x a week until abt 6 - 6.15pm. There are also community work, inter sch challenges etc once or twice a month.
Sch hols is almost non -existent .
Like this month of Dec, they hav to go back for training 3x a week, 4 hours each, only 2 parental letter of excuse allowed .
Yes, they learned discipline and they are enjoying themselves....but mummy heartache
