Kids have requested me to take leave next week to have bonding time before the big stress starts.

I agreed. The only time to really enjoy with them without any worries or stress is year end.

I told hubby I am TRULY enjoying the year end holiday now...think my stress level is going to start when school reopens. I want to enjoy a buffet lunch, ayam penyet (lucky plaza) and dessert before 30th dec.

we have been sleeping late on most days...waking up late (kids wake up close to 9am). we eat when we feel like it and not because it is lunch or dinner. going back to school means lunch and dinner at a certain time, rest and hit the books 🤷 during the holidays, even kfc delivery is so shiok...munch and enjoy slowly.

I don't have ME TIME during school holiday bcos kids are at home.

We still maintain relatively same routine except that i do not have the hassle of preparing them to go to school and fetching them.

              Hi fb555,
Have your twins transferred to another school yet?

School holiday means NO ME time because kids are at home.
The great thing is no need to look at the clock all the time and rush to get school homework done.

ME time soon when school reopens. Half a day of peace...3/4 day if they have supplementary lessons.

It's a wet day...time to get under the covers and snooze :snooze:

Since there is no school, they don't feel tired...furthermore they woke up late. I don't mind a snooze since weather is so cool (air is colder than air con).

Time to ask hubby for a Christmas gift

That sound so good....Xmas presents from hubby.

For my family, every year, only kids receive xmas presents, just like the 'hong bao'.
