Haha it's not 90 cm Tall 🙂 As long as it fits a4 notepad or a textbook it will work fine. They put it under their desk (not on the floor) - there's a slot for them to insert stuff.

you can get this type of basket from HDB sundry shops - those selling pails, mops etc. nothing special, looks like this type. I got mine from the AMK Ave 4 (near block 622) sundry shop a few years back. Can also try Japan Home.

Hi, has the school bus operator contacted any of you yet? I haven’t received any phone calls, and haven’t been able to get through the number given on the sngs website.

Hi Faith, yes, the school bus operator has contacted us. Which area do you stay? I have the contact for Bishan and Toa Payoh. Can pass to you if you need.

                Thanks Mamemo.

I’m at Hougang, so should be a different driver.
Guess will just have to wait for the call … or prepare to wake up earlier to send her to school …

We have not received the call from the school bus yet, but it should be any time within the next few days. Previously when I asked, I was told they will only start sorting it out after the Sec 1 registration, which took place on 22/12. I am also at the Hougang region.

On a side note, I know of someone from Sengkang whose bus pick up time this year (2014) was 6am. Bus operator also mentioned it will be about this time (6am/6:15am) for the coming year.

                    Hi,

                    thank you for your info..

some of us mentioned that it is 90cm by 40cm cause this measurement was given to us by the school during the P1 orientation..

we are puzzled by the measurement as 90cm is really very big :? .. can't imagine the sight of all P1 girls all bringing huge baskets to school on day 1..

                        just called up the school…

was told the basket should be 9cm tall only not 90cm…

so the correct measurement should be 9cm by 45cm…
big enough to hold an A4 size paper/book would be good enough…
