If you do not mind walking within the buildings and sheltered areas, then you can walk from Outram green line to the purple line within the air con mrt station, and then exit from the purple line. This links to one of the buildings and then just walk from one building to the next, within the hospital and you will reach the SOC.

RE: Comparing Chinese Enrichment (Primary/Preschool)
jetsetter:
So which is the best?
There's a diff between PRC NIE-trained teachers specialising in Chinese Lang/Linguistics vs PRC teacher (who may not be NIE-trained or specialises in Chinese Lang back in China) vs Malaysian Chinese Chinese lang teacher vs Taiwanese Guoyu teacher vs Singapore NIE-trained Chinese teacher vs Singapore Chinese teacher (not NIE trained but maybe a former journalist/editor).

RE: CHIJ St Nicholas Girls'
Hi,
I have just received the circular for Chinese Enrichment (composition and comprehension), offered by an external vendor TL Edu Svs. The teacher is Jiang Xiaohong.
Does anyone have any feedback on this enrichment? Is it worthwhile? One session per week for 15 weeks (feels very long to me).
Thank you in advance. -
RE: CHIJ St Nicholas Girls'
We have not received the call from the school bus yet, but it should be any time within the next few days. Previously when I asked, I was told they will only start sorting it out after the Sec 1 registration, which took place on 22/12. I am also at the Hougang region.
On a side note, I know of someone from Sengkang whose bus pick up time this year (2014) was 6am. Bus operator also mentioned it will be about this time (6am/6:15am) for the coming year. -
RE: Secondary School Third Languages
avalanste:
That is great!
Hi, I'm interested in your Japanese language materials, I'm currently studying for N2. I'll just \"filter out\" those materials I already have on my own.
How do I pass them to you?
I will send you a PM after this message, so we do not spam the thread.
I am so happy they have found a new home!
For those that you do not need, could you try to pass them on to someone else who may find them useful? -
RE: Secondary School Third Languages
Hi, I have these JLPT 2 materials to give away. I don't know if JLPT 2 is higher or lower than the 3rd lang standards, if it is lower, than let me know so I can throw them away. If not, I thought someone who is really interested in the language may be able to benefit from reading more materials.

Hi, where can we buy this? And roughly how much would it cost?
In my opinion, this current metronome is the absolute best in the market.
It's BOSS DB-090 (Dr Beat),
