Why not let your boy settle down in CHS first (since it'll be quite an adjustment for him in a new school), then let him decide which CCA he wants to join (instead of you deciding now, based on the days & timings of each CA) ? You can approach the HOD of CCAs, once your boy is ready to take up any CCA (say, mid P2 or beginning P3)..

          PS : Not sure about P1 & P2.. No swimming lessons for P3 - P6..
Thank you iFirefly, for your advice. Yes...DS will need time to adjust to the new school life here but I can imagine he'll love it as the school hours are much shorter. He is keen to continue table tennis cca so he's glad CHS offers that. He'll have to learn how to queue up and buy his own food during recess and eat really quickly (he's being served food in kindy and even pri. school now). I will have to start hunting for the P1 Orientation booklet soon! Wonder if the office can give me a new copy?

No idea - should be available in January, I think.

Hi, if we drop the kid in school early, around 645am, is there a supervised area where they can wait around till 715? Or does a parent have to accompany him till 715?. Tia.

                      School hours : 7.15am - 1.45pm.

CCA days depend on CCAs. Usually Wednesdays & Saturdays (for some CCAs).

The boys will gather in their classrooms. When the bell rings, they will go to the parade square for assembly (except on rainy days).

Most boys who take school buses arrive in school as early as 6.40am.

Parents need not accompany the boys.
