Saw Eriskang’s comment on Macbook Air, but abit confused. Are we given a choice to buy Macbook Pro instead? Do we have to buy through school, or can we buy on our own? Thanks

I think it will be one of the centres marked \"#\" on pages B-1 to B-4 in the MSP column on the Sec 1 posting booklet.
As to which one, perhaps it would be the nearest ?

If you look at the order form, the only option was MacBook air in various screen/ memory size. Also according to the cost comparison, via school vendor is supposedly $200+ cheaper. On top of that, if you are getting your own, there is additional $190 setup fee.
