Slmkhoo, all JCs start school on 5 Jan. I think it’s the same for MI.

Oh, I didn't know that. I was looking forward to booting both kids out the door on Friday! Anyway, as I said, it doesn't make much of a difference to me. My younger one will be the one who grumbles - she likes school, but she hates waking up early!

Was at Eastpoint Simei today. Really literally walking in circles on every floor due to layout of building (escalator in the middle). Seems to have less tuition centre on top floor but more food joints now. In the end went into Daiso and Yamazaki bakery at basement and left within half an hour as really nothing much to see/do despite that I have not gone there for ages already…

I was there last sunday for Ma Kwang clinic While waiting for our turn, I walked the mall but did not find any particular shop that is enticing, except to get a calculator from popular. Did not like the
                layout too. Left shortly.

I don't like the layout of westmall...stores are boring, escalators make shoppers walk one big round the narrow walkways. jcube no better. maybe I am mountain tortoise, but those stores don't seem to have anything exciting.

West Mall is pale in comparison with the malls at Jurong East.
The BK was recently replaced by Pizza Hut. I dont think there is anything exciting there.

I've never liked to go to west mall. there used to be a popular then...but it was so cramped inside. I love to go to westgate for popular and jem for ntuc. counting down to ME time :rahrah:

ME time is my favourite thread -

Happy New Year 2015 to all.

                        ME time until 4 Jan.
A lot of tasks already lined up from 5 Jan onwards, quite excited!
