[/quote]Dh and I actually thought that it is an interesting programme, worth a try. We discussed with dd but she said that when the principal was talking about the kind of students they were looking for, her thoughts were : This is not me!
We respected her choice. If dd thinks that she is not suitable, it'll be better to give it a miss. Good doesn't mean that you have to be in it.

Been informed to bring cloth etc... to clean the classroom !

I believe it is more to make the student feel more for their class and to mix around with their new classmates, especially for Sec 1 students. And by the way, DHS also has this tradition since my time donkey years ago till now as well, just that they clean it during last few days of December, of which I think it is a good idea as it will make them think twice if they were to dirty the classroom.3mom:
