Need some help here. I did not received the e-mail update on things to prepare for P1/2015 would appreciate if anyone could advise me on it.

Tried calling the school but there wasn't anyone picking up the phone.

I don't have the details of e-mail as my child is in P2 but I do come across this announcement from the school website: First day of school
An email was sent to the email address you provided to the school. The email is regarding the instructions for first day of school on 2 January 2015. If you did not provide an email address, a letter was mailed to your postal address. Do call the school at 6314 4192 if you have any queries.
Maybe you would like to check your e-mail again sometimes the mail can end up under the spam mail. Anyway not too worry about day 1 as it will be getting your child to be familiar with the school. All the text books & exercise books most likely will only need to be bring the following week where the actual study start. I still remember the 1st day of my child we are only ask to bring along colour pencils and the drawing bag.

Hi. I did received email from school dated 28th Nov.


I quoted some important information from the letter as below.

What to bring on the 1st day of school :

1) pencil case
2) colouring pencils
3) a story book
4) a water bottle

Students will be advised by their respective Form teacher & subject teachers when to bring their books.

Formal academic lessons will begin on 5th Jan.

As for recess on 1st day of school :

Classes : 1A, B, C & H
Recess : 9.30am to 10.15am
Remarks : Parents of students from 1A, 1B, 1C & 1H will enter the school from 9.15am onwards.

Classes : 1D, E, F & G
Recess : 10.30am to 11.15am
Remarks : Parents of students from 1D, 1E, 1F & 1G will enter the school from 10.15am onwards.

There will be a P2 buddy assigned to your child. The buddy will accompany your child/ward & show him/her how to buy food during recess for the 1st day of school.

You may ‘observe’ your child/ward from a distance in the canteen during recess.

Parents will be allowed to observe their child during recess on 2nd Jan only

My gal who is going to P1 tells me that she can't wait to go to school! I am happy that she likes her school! It is a good start!

Very impressive 1st day for the new semester! Felt like going to an opening of a carnival. With such level of the effort, creativity and determination, I'd be very expecting to see my son's progress for 2015. :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah:


One issue is that the new MConline is empty and the MConline app is also empty. The parent forum is missing as well. Noticed that the website address has been changed so probably things are still under construct but please be hurry.

:idea: Tips for logging on the MConline app: use WESTSPRINGPS as the school name/code.
