Waaaaaaooooo it's going to be 2nd Jan in like 1.5 days ... why so fasssttt
So \"seasoned\" parents from p2 & p3 ... any insights about what parents get to do on first day? Are we allowed to \"hang around\"? Do we get to teach the noobs how to buy food?
Feeling like it's our first day instead! :faint:
And if we don't \"chat\" again anytime today ... Happy 2015 to everyone!
PS: Suppose they'll be emailing us all our unique logins & PWs for Snaap? How are the reviews for the app in iTunes? V bad for Playstore. -

Hi Dramadequeen,cyranocrash:
Hi Parents of Pri 3 students,
Do u hv any idea where should the name tags be sewn on the new uniforms?
The nametag should be above the pocket.
there is new uniform with pockets?? :?
P3 onwards have a more formal uniform. It's like the proper uniform kind.. with pocket all. For the P1s and P2s they will still wear the ever-so-cool sporty dry-fit material uniform. -
cheerbear:
any chance that the teacher that brought them to the class on orientation will be the form teacher?
Not necc. Coz during orientation the new teachers have not come in yet.
So it could well be a different teacher.
Don't worry. In addition to MOE's \"Every School is a Good School\" tagline.. I personally feel that in Palm View \"Every Teacher is a Good Teacher\".

1) Take leave on the first day of school.
2) Send your child to school and attend the talk/briefing.
3) Go for a nice brunch with your spouse.
4) If your child is in student care.. even better. Go catch a movie or something with your spouse. It's a rare chance for you to go on a date with your spouse to start of the new year!!!!!..
hahahahahha.. don't worry about your kids. They will know what to do.. really.. no matter how blur u may think they are.. they will do well on the first day. Teachers will be around.. the older buddies will be around (don't forget the P3 kids started off 2 years ago not having any buddies and they survived!).
Happy dating! -

LOL! ... Don't think the daddies will enjoy the date much cos the mommies will be wondering aloud about the kid every 5 mins or so ... :rotflmao: but thanks for the recommendation!
And bless the buddies!!! :salute:
Good luck to the p1s tomorrow! -

Hahahah ... Wish classrooms had webcams that we can log into remotely. Then can peek without distracting them

Btw peeps, sorry if this QN has been answered before โฆ Is it true that school buses will cost the same whether one-way or two?
This was what we were told (by the bus op). When we signed up, we were asked which we needed. If the price was the same regardless, why bother to ask? Should just be default two-way.
We asked around our contacts and was told that this is not usual practise.
Appreciate additional insights. Thanks.
