What to bring on the first day to school this friday?

2015 P2 parents (born 2007) : may note

a) may pack lunch box

tomorrow Friday (2 Jan 2015) first day of school :-
P2 going to buddy P1, recess (3 pm onwards)

since canteen very packed, crowded (P1 parents standing behind the barrier, waiting for children come down class by class sit at designated benches led by Form Tr, take photos) :
P2s guide P1 newbie how to buy food, count $, best that parents pack lunch box for P2.

b) bring

- one exercise book with square box, for Chinese tingxie

- one Chinese storybook (read during Assembly, as Thur / Fri : Chinese storybook. Mon to Wed : English storybook)

- Maths 2A textbook / workbook
Chinese 2A textbook / workbook

- color pencils, water bottle, pencil case, etc

c) on Tuesday (30 Dec 2014):
school held staff meeting (after Tr returned from their holidays overseas), re-shuffled 2014 P2 Form Tr around, to teach different 2015 classes.

2014 class 2B Form Tr (Mr Wong, male Tr) : become 2015 class 2E Form Tr, this new year.

Chinese Tr (lao shi) remain the same :
because Chinese subject not easy, need to follow up Higher Chinese from P1 all the way to P2

2015 individual class Timetable will be out, hopefully, by end of Week 1 : Fri (9 Jan)
(not finalized yet)

Meanwhile, from Tomorrow Fri (2 Jan) until next Fri (9 Jan) one week, Form Tr will inform every class : what to bring to school, everyday.
Form Tr will also give out 2015 handbook, in class.

d) after school settle down initial, first few weeks -
Form Tr inform parents which weekdaｙ　ｈａｖｅ　compulsory swimming lesson(s), at Clementi swimming pool.

The compulsory swimming is from p2 right ? P1 won’t have swimming

compulsory swimming lessons only for P2, during PE.

Not for P1, because too young

Swimming only for one level : P2 only, in Rgps.

In some other primary schools, compulsory swimming lessons start in P4.

this is the best time to form your own P1 class whatsapp group, since many parents are standing together, class by class, 3 pm onwards. (recess time)
if kids from the same class, good to exchange handphone number
