Hi, this Friday will end at 4.35pm to 4.45pm. (uniform)

Next Monday will end at 4.20pm to 4.30pm. (PE attire)
Next Tuesday will end at 9.45pm. (uniform)

Any particular reason why ends so late or is it the usual school hour dismissal ?

The girls have to stay to those late hours during orientation only as we have a whole list of programmed planned out for them esp the 3rd day we end at 9+ as it is performance night!

other than that on normal school days for lower sec,
monday, friday - 1.50pm
tuesday, thursday - 1.50pm, then CCA till 6/7 depending (some ccas dont have cca on tues too)
wed - 2pm

for upper sec
mon, fri - 2.40pm
tues, thurs same as lower sec
wed same as lower sec

also only school jacket can be worn and this can be bought with the uniform and pe attite at the school uniform vendor’s booth!

Are the sec 1 classes allocated temporary or permanent?

Do the girls from IP program behave differently from the girls from express? My DD mentioned that IP girls are quiet and reserved while express girls are friendly and fun. As parent we want to give them the best, if what she said is true then we would have selected express for her then as having fun and friendly peers are vital in school too. :scratchhead:

I guess they are just shy on the first day as the large majority comes from different school. I am surprised that the FT already initiated a chatgroup for the class and it is really active even though they still do not interact much in class. Beeps every few seconds on my dd phone.

As there is no affiliation for IP, the girls are from different schools and thus shy on the first day. For O levels, many girls are from the Pri school and already know one another well thus more friendly. The girls would behave like old friends after the orientation program. This is what orientation is for.

The Sec 1 classes should be permanent with movement of 1 or 2 students transferred from one class to another for the first few days.
