For the upcoming Orientation camp, will you equipped your DD with sleeping bag? I know its optional, just want to know the thought of majority.

And also, do you think a normal haversack bag or a cabin luggage bag, more suitable for that?

Allowed to bring snacks? I thought not allowed to eat in class... :oops: I think sleeping bag is quite important if you are sleeping in class because it may get quite cold. I think either bags are fine though.

In my year we didn't get to eat in class but if you bring food and bring it down for breakfast in the canteen then it could be allowed

But they do provide a sufficient amount of food, so if you bring too much you might end up bringing a lot of food home.

:thankyou: yes, that is the problem we r facing now, no pw, can't login... :scared: but i saw in the previous posts that there students logging in to create their passwords n the ICT dept couldn't handle the sudden load on their servers.... :yikes: we are so confused now :nailbite:

Are you referring to the gmail account. My DD has been able to login. The default password is the IC number of the child.

I dont think they've been given the password yet.

There was previously an inet instruction on how to set up the gmail password. It has since been removed after the inet upgrade just before the New Year.

We managed to read that message and followed the instruction before it was taken down.

Your DD has to first change the inet password, after that go to gmail and you will be able to create the password for the school email account set up. Sorry, I don't remember the exact steps, but roughly that was it.

Dear Students,

The service to synchronise the iNet password with the G-Mail account iis currently not working and we are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Hence there will be an issue logging into G-Mail account for all Y1 Students.

We will post a further announcement as soon as the issue is resolved.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Oh! Thank you very much for the info! Btw how or where did you find that message? We have been looking high n low in INET since Friday for any info on this but to no avail. We r totally clueless
