Thanks for the reply. I understand that the MRT is very congested in the morning, and most mornings my kid will just stand throughout his journey to Boon Lay MRT, then take a bus to the RV gate.

not really...if u board the train at woodlands it will be normally empty..

Anyone managed to log in to nTRIX? I couldn’t log in to the site anymore. I used to be able to do so to check my son’s results but now my DD is in RV, the site seemed to have removed my account.

Thanks for the information. I have tried that but it wasn't working either. I suspect they have lost my profile in their system. My kids were able to log in just fine. Anyway, I have written an email to them for assistance.

I have written something about the way Chinese lesson is being conducted in RVHS, my girl's class. I feel that I should make a summary here because the previous post, somehow, not in the appropriate topic.


1) Mo xie on Tang Shi 唐诗, they have to memorise 3 to 5 诗 every week.

2) Chinese 散文，newspaper articles or chinese reader digest articles, about 2 reviews per week, about 500 to 600 words. Sometimes more, about 1000 words. Its more on the 读后感 and recently, they have to find the article link to the character of the author to write.

3) Different level has to read different famous books (名著）. Eg, year 1 is 西游记 and so on.

4) Presentation of story books they have read, usually about 3 mins, in power point slides. Review and recommendation. They did this as their June holidays project.

5) Write Chinese journals (like a diary).

Thats all I can think of at the moment. Most welcome if any parents would like to share more, on Chinese or other subjects. Cheer ...

Not sure. Need to check with her when she is back. She is having orientation camp now
