      Hello parents,

May I know how much to set aside every month for my ds apart from his monthly school fee of $280 + $45 ?

Ds will be in sec 1 - express.

Also, how much is your ds' daily allowance? Days with cca and days without.

Working on my next year's budget now. πŸ™‚

      Thank you!

Hv to pay some $ for DS' CCA, but that is specific to that CCA. One time payment per year.

As for allowance, i give him $5 per day, regardless of CCA or not. he eats lunch in school because school ends at 2.40pm most days. He did tell me I can give him less but I don't want him to stinge on food as he's growing and his appetite is also growing. Told him to save up any extra left.

      Thank you for sharing. πŸ™‚

      To new parents,

If you haven't gotten the tie yet, do buy it from Bibi baba. I much prefer the material compared to the tie I got together with the starter kit. Just my 2c. Hths!

Happy New Year to all on this thread. πŸ˜‰

In case you missed the email to parents,

The school will be conducting a temperature taking exercise on Wednesday, 7 January 2015 for all staff and students. This exercise is part of our emergency readiness preparations.

Please remind your child/ward to bring their thermometers on Wednesday, 7 January. Students who have misplaced or forgotten their thermometers may purchase one at $4 from the administrative office.

Additional information on this year's IB results for parents with children moving on to Year 5 and intending to take CLB at standard level:

333 YR 5 candidates sat for CLB paper in 2014.

Only 4 scored less than 7points.
