If you go in the morning for breakfast, you can try the bin chieng kuey - stall in the coffeeshop nearest to the POSB ATMs. its cheap and very good.
Just went there this morning. NICE. Thanks for the GOOD recommendation. 60 cents a piece.
We enjoyed the Soya Bean milk and Soya Bean curd from the hawker center too. Quite similar to Tiong Bahru Market's standard. -

There's a lot of stalls selling great food at the Old Bedok Food Centre
Some of my family favourites:
- cheng teng
- pizza stall (Gemelli Pizza & Pasta) - love love their pizzas
- bak kut teh stall (i like the red wine chicken, and dh likes the bak kut teh)
- zhi char stall
There are also long queues at the Malay food stalls and the Hokkien Mee. Never got round to trying those dishes as the queues put me off...
At Eastwood Centre, try eating at the Hong Kong Street restaurant. The food there is yummy and at reasonable prices too...
...yyummm  -
which zhi char stall there is good?
and any recommendation of which stall for BBQ seafood?

-

Sori, can't remember the name but there's only 1 zhi char stall at the Bedok Food Centre. You can't miss it as its stall is 2 small stalls combined as one big stall. I think they are closed on Wed.which zhi char stall there is good?

My family not BBQ seafood fans so have not quite noticed if they even sell the dishes there. But I do know that at the Fengshan Market at Bedok, there are a couple of BBQ seafood stalls. Seems to be very popular as it is always crowded whenever I go there in the evenings for dinner. -

Fengshan Market - its not the one at blk 85? or is it the one near to Fengshan CC?
