Yes, agree that their durians are not the cheapest around, but then it is quality durians that we are talking about. They have the quality of durians that durian lovers go for. -

I went to 717 last night! Verrrrry nice! We bought the xiao zhongzi (small seed) - it's a combination of bitter and sweet with the aforementioned small seeds. $13/kg, roughly 1.5kg per fruit. :love:
How come D24 now relegated to lower grade? Only $10/kg. Must be a case of over production over the years in response to demand from Singapore.

I still love D24 best for its bitterness and creamy taste. Now still not the season yet. When come to Jun/Jul/Aug there will be a temporary shelter outside 717 crowded with their regular customers (Iām one of them) where you will see lorries of durian coming from Malaysia. -

Yes, agree with you that the D24 is much cheaper nowadays as compared to when it first appeared in the market. I suppose like you said, could be due to over production over the years? :? -
