Reading all the thank you messages to the PSLs from the yr 1 mummies and daddies. ...I feel so proud of my ds now. Three years down the road current yr 1 parents can be proud parents like me if your son join as psl too....:)

Now that it's back to reality and formal classes are commencing, is there a requirement to bring the heavy textbooks to school? Do they use them? Which ones can be left at home? :scratchhead:

As far I know, ds never brings text books to school, except the CL ones.

Seems that the text books are more for self-reading and reference.

Does anyone know whether ri provides the schoolarship for the poor family ? As student achieved the 10a1 at Gce o level decide to go poly instead of jc as the parents worried about the fee of jc. I think she is top student for 2014 o level.

One of the funds available from school is 1823 Fund. Student may apply for it any time. No discrimination. Anyone with needs can apply, as long as RI student. General office has the appln forms.
