Sexyviper:
Do you collect your MacBook in school?
No. It is at Mountbatten centre.
Yes have made payment in full on 24/12.MMM:
Those who have received email from vendor, have you guys make the payment? The vendor asked me to pass the cheque to my DS and he can pay upon collection.
I find it strange cos' I thoughr normally they have to wait for the check to clear before giving the goods? -
Hi
Iām a bit concern as ds has been carrying lots of books recently. His bag is very heavy - should be at least 10kgs. He told me the locker is very small and it is meant for MacBook and wallet only.
Does anyone ds carry lots of books too? -
Hoya:
Math test on 22nd jan
I think Geography is on 22nd too. Feeling worried... After 1 week, test already. -

Agree that it's super heavy. Ds have to travel by train & with the bulky bag its so clumpsy. Today, he brought his football + instrument for CCA so even heavier...

Boy puts some books in locker n some under his table so his bag is not heavy. -
Finally received email from vendor to collect MacBook this weekend.
As for the schoolbag, choose bags that are durable and light. Most schoolbags nowadays weigh more that 2kg without anything in it, especially good laptop bags. We bought one that is close to 1kg.
DS also offload some books in the locker. I know he is not supposed too as teachers advised them to bring the books home for revision.
But I told DS to bring home the textbooks that he needs to revise on. I am pretty sure he is not going to revise every single subjects everyday.
I also changed his water-bottle to a smaller one and he needs to refill during recess.
So far, I think the weight for his bag now is lighter than when he was in primary school. -
Just checking, any of your DS mentioned anything about Geo?
As Geo is an entirely new subject, my DS seems kinda lost.
He had some difficulties doing his Geo workbook last night and I told him that he should read the textbook first before attempting the questions.
And he went - Oh I see~~~
Starting to get worried as they are taking so many new subjects this year. -
Just received email to collect MacBook this Sunday.
